The short version: By using Signal Twelve you agree to these terms. We provide the service as-is, you use it lawfully, you pay for what you subscribed to, and either of us can end the relationship at any time. Disputes are resolved in Massachusetts.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and Signal Twelve LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company (“Signal Twelve,” “we,” “us,” “our”), governing your use of:
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for individuals using it in a professional context — not for use by minors or for personal/household purposes only.
You sign in to the mobile app with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact security@signaltwelve.ai.
One account per person. Do not share accounts. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
Signal Twelve Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription:
Both plans begin with a 7-day free trial when you first subscribe. You will not be charged during the trial period.
If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (trial or paid), your subscription will automatically renew at the same price for the same length of time. Renewals continue until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time:
Cancelling stops future renewals. You continue to have access to Signal Twelve Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until the end of the trial).
All purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policy. We do not process refunds directly — you must request them through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Outside of Apple’s process, we do not offer refunds for unused subscription time.
We may change the price of subscriptions. If we do, you will be notified before any price change takes effect on your account, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price is charged.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. By starting a free trial or paid subscription and immediately accessing the Service’s digital content, you expressly consent to performance of the contract beginning before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon completion of the contract.

Signal Twelve, the Signal Twelve name, the Signal Twelve LLC logo, the Rules Based Investing® methodology (where referenced for our consulting practice — note: this is a separate trademark and reference), and all software, content, and design elements of the Service are owned by Signal Twelve LLC or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (your friction-quiz answers, check-ins, notes, “growth intent”). By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the Service to you and to improve the Service in aggregate, anonymized form.
The reports, recommendations, action plans, and tool picks Signal Twelve generates are produced by large language models (currently Anthropic’s Claude family). They are intended as informational guidance and are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). AI-generated output may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for evaluating any recommendation before acting on it.
We aim to keep Signal Twelve running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance, upgrades, security, or business reasons. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when feasible.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT THE RECOMMENDATIONS PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE WILL ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNAL TWELVE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signal Twelve LLC from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data: open the Signal Twelve app → Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk to us or other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and post a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
